Reclaim, Grade, & Pave

It may be surprising to learn that asphalt contractors have been recycling for years. We use a process called “reclaiming” to reuse old materials and provide a foundation for your new parking lot, which is even more stable than before. When we remove your old parking lot, we are able to repurpose the existing asphalt in the installation of your new, beautiful lot.

We use an asphalt reclaimer that grinds up the asphalt from the old parking lot. We then mix it together with the existing base to a depth of 9 inches. This will stabilize and strengthen your existing base, giving us a solid foundation to build on.

Comprehensive Services for Small to Midsize Parking Lots

Our team has the equipment and personnel to pave a parking lot of any size. We have developed a reputation for integrity and value that puts us a cut above other asphalt paving companies.

J&W works with your organization to make sure we fit your deadline. Our experts have paved new parking lots and conducted tear out and replacement for businesses of many sizes.

New Parking Lot Installation & Maintenance

When it comes to new parking lot installation, we organize the entire process from curb installation to the final striping of the lot. Our team of professionals is dedicated to a safe and clean worksite.

Our new parking lot installations include:

  • Strip malls
  • Office buildings
  • Retail buildings
  • Churches
  • Funeral homes
  • Post offices
  • Bowling alleys
  • Gas station parking lots

Once your lot is finished, trust our experts to keep it perfectly maintained! Repairing small asphalt issues at the first sign is the best way to extend the lifespan of any asphalt surface.

Another proven way to extend the life of your investment is by applying sealcoat. When combined with other important measures in a comprehensive pavement maintenance plan, sealcoating can extend the life of your parking lot, keeping it looking beautiful longer.

Parking Lot Dig Out & Replacement

If well cared for, a parking lot may enjoy a 10 to 15-year lifespan. However, time takes its toll on all things, and an aging parking lot can become an eyesore and a public nuisance. Worse yet, it can become a serious safety hazard.

For pedestrians, broken up pavement, potholes, and cracks can mean a tripping hazard, which puts your organization at risk of liability. For vehicles, a torn up aging lot can cause tremendous damage to tires and suspension, which is also a liability.

Occasionally, it becomes necessary to replace an existing lot with brand new pavement. At some point, you may find your parking lot is beyond the point of asphalt patching or resurfacing. We can help you get back on track by removing the old pavement and replacing it with new, smooth asphalt to provide years of safe traffic.

Signs it’s time for a new parking lot:

  • Deep ruts
  • Severe potholes
  • More than 25% is damaged
